Why Participate?
Create your own Reality Race in The 3rd Annual Steel Town Amazing Race! Loosely based on the hit television show ‘The Amazing Race’ its your turn to make it to the winners mat!
Prove you’ve got what it takes. Use your strength, stamina and sheer ability to become the first place winner of the 2010 Steel Town Amazing Race
You will compete for AMAZING prizes!
To support the youth of Hamilton through fundraising for City Kidz
What do I bring on Race Day?
Yourself, your teammate(s)
Pledges and Pledge Forms
A piece of Government issued identification
Adequate foot attire
Dress for the Elements (i.e. rain gear, sunscreen, hats, mitts, sunglasses, etc.)
ENERGY and STAMINA to survive challenges and possibly ELIMINATION!!!
How can we collect pledges?
Pledges can be collected in two ways:
Online at www.onlineregistrations.ca/starkidz/
In Person (with provided Pledge Form)
When your friends and family decide to pledge you they can either give you cash or cheques (made out to City Kidz) in person and you can fill out their information on your printed pledge form.

Is there a rain day?
No, The Steel Town Amazing Race will proceed rain or shine increasing the level of surprise and intensity
Due to EXTREME inclement weather, race may be cancelled
What if I am over 18 years old, but my partner is not, can we still race?
Unfortunately, all participants of the Doubles Challenge must be at least 18 years old.
Where does the race begin?
To be announced…
Parking?
Space is limited and the finish line will be at a separate location. It may be a good idea to be dropped off on race day.
Can my mom come and watch?
She sure can!!! Half the fun of jumping on the finish mat is having someone there cheering you on!
